Chocolate

Some of our favorite recipes are the following: 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

CHOCOLATE OR WHITE CHOCOLATE

Materials

1 cup cold, fresh milk (300 ml approx)

2 tbsp ready powdered white or dark chocolate.

2 tsp brown sugar ( optional )

 

Process

Heat the milk and add the chocolate and sugar.

Once it starts to boil turn off the heat and

stir in hot eye until melted.

Serve in cups.

 

 

 

 

 

CHOCOLATE WITH RUM

Materials

1 cup cold, fresh milk (300 ml approx)

2 tbsp ready powdered chocolate

1 tsp brown sugar ( optional )

1 tsp honey

1 stick cinnamon

1 shot of rum (20ml) (Amaretto, Kahlua, baileys )

Process

Heat the milk and add the chocolate,

honey, sugar and cinnamon.

Once it starts to boil turn off the heat and

stir in hot eye until melted.

Finally add the rum and serve in cups.

 

Other versions of hot chocolate

Where fresh milk (300ml) can put 200ml fresh milk and the other 100ml with cream.

 

Chocolate Flavored:

Exactly the same procedure with the hot chocolate just add your favorite flavor:

1/4 cup creamy peanut butter or

1 teaspoon nutmeg or

1/3 teaspoon ground cardamom ( kakoules ) or

1 cup unsweetened coconut milk or

1 banana ( first in a blender with all the materials and then to pot)

 

MOKA (WITH AMARETTO)

Materials

1 cup cold, fresh milk (300 ml approx)

2 tbsp ready powdered chocolate

60 grams of espresso coffee (drink – not powder)

50 grams of chocolate syrup ( what you put on ice cream)

20 grams of amaretto

whipped cream

Procedure:

Heat the milk and add the chocolate, espresso, and chocolate syrup.

Once it starts to boil turn off the heat and stir in hot eye until melted.

Finally add the rum and serve in cups.

Garnish with whipped cream and a little syrup.

 

CHOCOLATE WITH ORANGE

Materials:

1 cup cold , fresh milk (300 ml approx)

2 tbsp. ready powdered chocolate

1-2 cinnamon sticks

1 sprig vanilla torn in half vertically.

Half an orange zest

Procedure:

Mix all the ingredients in the milk and stir constantly until it boils.

Remove from the heat and leave to cool slightly for 1-2 '.

Strain and serve hot.

 

CHOCOLATE WITH CHESTNUT

Materials:

1 cup cold, fresh whole milk (300 ml approx)

2 heaped tbsp ready powdered chocolate

1 Tbsp chestnut jam

2 tsp brandy

1/2 tsp NESCAFE

Procedure:

Mix all the ingredients in the milk and stir constantly until it boils.

Remove from the heat and leave to cool slightly for 1-2 min.

 

Cold Chocolate or white, Vienoua

Materials:

1 cup cold , fresh whole milk (300 ml approx)

2 heaped tbsp ready powdered chocolate drink

5-6 cubes

Process

All together in a blender and then serve.
